Great intentions, disappointing texture
I really wanted to love this Caudalie moisturizer, and I appreciate the vegan formulation. Unfortunately, the performance doesn't match. It feels cakey on my skin and starts to peel off in little bits as it dries, which is especially frustrating because I have very dry skin and a moisturizer shouldn't be doing that. The fragrance is also pretty strong, which may bother anyone sensitive to scent. I'd love to see Caudalie reformulate this for a smoother, more hydrating finish, because the vegan effort is a great start.

Awful Almond scent
I was so excited that this body cream would have the same lovely scent as the Handcream . It has a awful Almond scent , so I gave it away . Now I am reluctant to order the cashmere body cream . Since both this body cream and the Cashmere body cream , says that they do not have any specific scent , when you as a question

I bought this and then bought it twice more used up and put one for my husband as well he really liked it because it’s not scented like the usual ones. I love how moisturise without the sticky feeling.

So soothing for irritated skin
This is so nice if you have skin that is on the dry side and tends to suffer itchiness and irritation (a constant problem for me). The texture is very thick and I was hesitant initially, as I thought it was going to be hard to rub in, but it sinks in beautifully and leaves skin feeling so soft and hydrated. Best of all, the feeling lasts so my skin is calm and comfortable all day. I can see from other reviews that the scent is divisive but I love it - if you have tried the Caudalie almond cleansing milk you will recognise the same gentle almond scent here. I can see this becoming an absolute essential for me during the cold winter months.

Highly recommend for anyone who wants a body cream with a light refreshing scent, without it effecting skin sensitivity. A little bit goes a long way, and no matter what else i try i always come back to this product as a reliable option!
