Unfortunately I’m allergic
The packaging for this product is really cute! Unfortunately the Niacinamide causes my skin to breakout so I cannot continue using it. I only used a little for a patch test and it does leave a bit of a purple/white cast on darker skin. Gifted by caudalieus

Good
I have a soft spot for Caudalie, so I was really excited to try this sunscreen. SPF 50 is exactly what I usually go for, so on paper it felt like a perfect match for me. The formula is actually really nice in many ways. It absorbs quickly, doesn’t feel greasy at all, and most importantly for me, it’s not sticky. I really can’t stand that heavy, tacky feeling that some sunscreens leave, and this one feels very light and comfortable on the skin. It also sits well under makeup, which is a big plus. The only reason I wouldn’t give it a full 5 stars is the texture. It’s much more liquid than I expected. Even when you shake it, you can tell it’s very watery, and once you dispense it, it tends to run and spread too fast. Because of that, it’s a bit tricky to apply evenly, and I feel like I end up losing some product in the process. Overall, I still really like it and will keep using it, but I wish the texture was just a little more controlled. Complimentary from caudalieus

My new go to SPF.
This item was gifted to me by Caudalieus and I have been using it ever since. The lightweight milky formula is perfect for the summer and doesn’t feel too heavy or sticky on my skin. The UV protection is also very effective as I have noticed, there is no redness where it is applied. As someone with sensitive and acne prone skin, I haven’t noticed any sensitivity towards this product. This is a safe bet when picking your SPF for the summer.
